I didn't think I would end up sharing recipes on my blog but Josh gave me an 8 QT Instapot for Christmas and had to test it out!
I had a Frozen 6lb Turkey Breast in the freezer so I decided to make it. We didn't plan on having a Christmas dinner at our place until I opened my gift.
I searched to make sure it was okay to put in a Frozen turkey since I read you could put in frozen chicken. Why not turkey?!
Let me tell you..We plan on making the turkey next Thanksgiving because it was so delicious. Juicy & Tender!! Just perfection.
Recipe calls for:
Seasonings of your choice
I didn't measure my seasonings but I used
I rubbed the seasonings on the turkey then drizzled it with olive oil and rub it in.
Next, I cut up some onion and celery.
Used the Saute feature. (Press Saute, change to 15 add when it says hot)
Once it was translucent I added the chicken broth. Put in the trivet and placed the turkey on top.
Set the timer for 1 hr & 20 mins this is for a 6.23lb turkey.
Once it was done I let it naturally vent. At 15 mins I turned it to venting to let the pressure out.
Took the turkey out then added the gravy packet to the stock in the pot with flour to make the gravy.
It was AMAZING!! We all had a second plate!
